What does this program support?

The SJP Bursary and Scholarship program provides a one-time financial bursary to a current St. James Player or St. James Player Alummni who is continuing their education at a post-secondary institution and has demonstrated a dedication and love for community theatre.

The SJP Bursary is $1500 for one individual OR $1000 for two individuals, depending on the number or eligibility of applicants.

Who can apply?

• A St. James Players alumnus (either onstage or backstage)

• Demonstrates initiative, voluntary involvement, and a dedication to the arts community.

• Continuing their education through post-secondary

This bursary will be presented annually in conjunction with the corresponding Spring or Fall St. James Players production.

In order to qualify for the 2024 Spring Bursary, your completed application must be received by April 30th, 2024.

How do I apply?

Applicants must download the file below and complete each of the sections, ensuring to sign and date each section. The completed document MUST be submitted before the deadline: Spring Bursary, April 30th, 2024.

IMPORTANT: Your application must be submitted, signed, and dated before the closing date and must be RECEIVED before the closing date either mailed, emailed, or given directly to the Chair (Fred Batley) or Vice Chair (Faith Morales). Only successful applicants will be contacted.
